Depending on the size of your pond, filters can be particularly unsightly and obtrusive when placed in view. When constructing your pond or replacing your existing filter, you have a few options to help blend the pond filter into the surroundings. You can install the filter box out of sight, but this can call for some complicated pipework which will inevitably be harder to maintain. Another option is to hide the box by surrounding it with plants, but this can restrict access to the filter box when the plants grow. The last solution, and definitely the most effective, is to use a specially designed artificial rock.

Natural Rock Appearance

Filter rock covers are available in a range of finishes and sizes, with each imitating a different type of rock. This makes them indistinguishable from the rocks you may already have placed around your pond and allow it to easily blend into your surroundings - hiding the unsightly filter box. A number of filter manufacturers, such as Oase and Lotus, produce their own line of artificial rocks that are designed to fit the various-sized filters, but Pond Planet’s own range can accommodate most popular pressure pond filters - such as those from Laguna and Hozelock.
