Bacteria are not always negative organisms, in aquarium set-ups, they are the most important and useful helpers. Bacteria carry out the important task of removing toxins or converting them into harmless substances. The JBL ProClean Bac contains highly concentrated beneficial bacterial strains designed for converting problematic nitrogen compounds, such as ammonium (NH4), ammonia (NH3) and nitrite (NO2) into harmless nitrogen compounds such as nitrate (NO3) or nitrogen gas (N2).
Live bacterial cultures in JBL products like JBL ProClean Bac, JBL Denitrol, JBL FilterStart and JBL FilterBoost can’t be overdosed. This is because the bacteria may be added in over-concentration, but the survival of the bacteria is linked to the availability of nutrients. For example if a large amount of ammonium is present, many bacteria can survive and reproduce using it as their food source, but If there is hardly any ammonium, only a portion of the bacteria will survive.
How to Use: Shake disposable cartridge, open and pour entire contents into the aquarium. Ideal for 60-200 litres of freshwater.

The JBL CristalProfi i80 Greenline Internal Filter provides both mechanical and biological filtration in aquariums 60-110 litres in size. Their modular design means the filter capacity can be easily extended if required.
Plant and food remains, as well as fish waste can lead to a deterioration of the water quality in an aquarium. The use of suitable filtration such as the JBL CristalProfi provides healthy water conditions which are a necessity for fish and plants to thrive. Internal Filters circulate the aquarium water and remove waste and debris, whilst beneficial bacteria which colonise within the filter decompose any harmful substances which may build up.
The CristalProfi i80 Internal Filter comes supplied with filter media, making it ready for installation straight out of the box. The water outlet is rotatable by 90° and includes both a wide jet outlet and spray bar for multiple water return options. When cleaning the CristaProfi a specially designed valve system allows the filter to empty when it is removed from the aquarium whilst preventing any dirty water from flowing back into the tank.
The i80 Internal Filter is extremely energy-efficient and just 4w resulting in large energy savings.
